Sunrise Engagement Session
This Sunrise Engagement Photos was a unique asset for us. We always seek for the perfect light and the sunrise always presents us with the awakening of nature and all that magical atmosphere. We wake up, our couples start the session in a more sleepy way and with time they wake up, birds fly by saying that the day has started and the light starts to brighten the day in a subtle and beautiful way.
Nature communicates and from one moment to the next we are already awake and present.

What is the best time to take engagement photos?
This is a very simple question to answer when we think how to plan an Engagement Session and that choice is really important. The light influences the photos a lot. So the best time to take engagement photos is at sunrise or sunset.
Why? At sunset the light starts more harsh and turns golden in a soft way. It is the time of the day photographers call “golden hour”, then it gets darker and it only gets better, if it is a day with few clouds this light reflects in the clouds, and makes the sky look cool and colorful, it’s amazing! Then we have the “blue light” – it is a very special moment because it is almost night, but we still have a little light, this little light has a charm, which is difficult to explain, but it is beautiful.
When we talk about Sunrise Engagement Photos, the process is the same but on the contrary, we start everything dark, then comes blue light, then the sky turns lilac and then we have “golden hour” – everything so beautiful!
The biggest advantage of doing at sunrise is that we have empty places to photograph, just us and in more intimate sessions like this, it is a great advantage.
Is sunrise or sunset better for pictures?
This is really difficult to answer, especially for us who are passionate about these two moments of the day.

But as our photos are very spontaneous, we always want to make sure the couple wants to wake up early and if they feel comfortable doing that. Some people simply doesn’t like to wake up early and that’s fine, in that case we seek the sunset.

Are engagement photos worth it?
From the bottom of our hearts, OF COURSE !!!! – really worth it.
We can list several reasons:
- The first one is that it is a great opportunity to be with your photographers and be photographed by them before the wedding. To end up this idea that you don’t look good in photos, here’s something we have to say: The love you feel for one another is incredibly photogenic and we don’t need more than that.
- The second is: The engagement session tells the story of your wedding. “What do you mean? This is not my wedding day.” – we believe that from the moment you decide to get married, that you become engaged, you already live the wedding, and the emotions related to your union through the wedding are extremely touched. You will not remember only the wedding day, but the whole process: choice of suppliers, choice of date, choice of groomsmen, guest list, food tasting, bachelor party, choice of dress, among many other details. Live these moments intensely, maybe you’ll only get married once in your life. You will see in these photos afterwards everything that went through your mind when you were going through the process of getting married.
- The third is that you can choose a place that makes sense to you, that tells the story of where you met, or where you lived an important moment in your life, has thousands of reasons to record and many stories to tell about you.
- Also because it’s beautiful and you deserve to have a day full of love with your partner and have these moments registered by an artistic photographer.
